Abstract

We make use of the light cone coordinators for studies on muon decay. We derive the Volkov wave function in a linearly polarized laser field. In this work we examine the process of muon decay in a linearly polarized laser field µ− ! e− + ¯ νe− + νµ. A detailed calculation of this process is carried out, using Volkove wave function for the initial muon and electron.
