Abstract
Phytochemical investigation on the flowers of Senna didymobotrya led to the isolation and characterization of the known anthraquinones chrysophanol (23) and physcion (24); two most likely new anthraquinones 2,2'-chrysophanolfallacinol (25B) and 10-(7-hydroxy-digito emodin-5'-yl)-10-hydroxy chrysophanol- 9-anthrone (26).
