Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess the implementation of team leadership and challenging in the school environment in secondary school at Bole sub city. There are basic questions were formulated which emphasized the extent to which team leadership and teachers understand the concept and the function of team leader ship. The problem that affects to implement the team leadership. To conduct this study the descriptive survey method was employed. All six government secondary schools found at Bole sub city were included through availability sampling techniques. As teachers, students department heads principals and P.T.S.A members were participated in the study. Though availability sampling techniques 90 teachers 90 students 33 department heads 12 principals 27 P.T.S.A members were selected through random sampling Techniques. Questionnaire was used as the main tool of data collection sample percent age was utilized to analyze quantitative data gained through the questionnaires. The result of the study indicated that the principals were not participatory to organize the implementation of team leadership. The involvement of teachers to implement team leadership was very less. The involvement of students were not matured enough to implement the leadership team in the school the involvement members had very less awareness to implement the school team leadership and there were common factors hinder effective of implementation of team leadership. Finally to minimize the problems school team leadership in secondary schools of Bolle sub city. It is recommended. The school principals should get awareness to organize and implement the team leadership. The school administrative should invite the matured students to involve the implementation of team leadership. Teachers should actively participate in implementing team leadership. The P.T.S.A members should get awareness to implement team leadership to support and practice to implement of school team leadership in conducting action research was suggested.
