Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate the contribution of family planning education on to rural women of aleje woreda. To this end, descriptive survey design methods were employed. Sources of data were women and men group and semi structured interview and focus group discussion were conducted data analysis was used SPSS 20 version led to the following major finding out of the total 100 rural residents women in Alaje woreda 79% of them are exposed for family planning education and at the same time the analysis underscore 63%of women preference of form of education. The study also examine factors affecting women contraceptives use the study also find out 21% of women claim that husband opposition is major barrier and only 6% of the respondents are said There is lack of adequate knowledge of EC among men of reproductive age there for the health education should provide an opportunity for the clients to go through the stages of identification of problem, planning implantation and evolution. Therefore, there is a need to address community by expanding information and education about family planning education and to build providers capacity through trainings.
