Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine factors that contribute to marital satisfaction in woreda 13 and 15 of Kolfe Keranio sub city, Addis Ababa. The sample of the study was 331 peoples who were married and selected through random sampling. Data collection tools had 2 parts. Demographic Questionnaire and Index of Marital Satisfaction scale [IMS].Marital satisfaction was dependent variable for this study. Gender, duration of marriage, number of children and ethnicity were independent variables. Binary logistic regression analysis of data showed that duration of marriage and number of children were significantly related to marital satisfaction. Ethnicity and gender did not contribute to marital satisfaction significantly.
