The findings also showed that the majority of the teaching staff was using ICT, particularly computers and internet. Most of the teaching staff was found to be using computers daily. As of the competency of the teaching staff on some of the basic ICT applications the study showed that the skill of the majority was promising especially in word processing, emailing and internet browsing. An investigation of the Colleges’ ICT infrastructure readiness reviled that there was a serious problem of access to ICT infrastructures. The ICT training level of Nifas Silk TVET College was seen in light of the proposed ICT training model. It was found that the characteristics of the College resemble a typical institution at the first phase, emerging phase, of the proposed ICT training model.
